From a pleasurable listening experience 'Risen From The Ashes' made an aspiring and entertaining evening at the Salvation Army Festival. The band members have paid their dues through life's struggles to rise to a new and positive plateau. Very impressed with their professional sound during their night on CJXF Community Radio. At 6 p.m. the music starts without warning. A powerful blast shakes people from their summer lethargy and the sweltering heat this Sunday evening at the Edmonton Central Community Church…. "We're going to trade our sorrow for the joy of the Lord," Jaster sings as he strokes the lead guitar in a six-piece band.... His voice, strong and melodic, rises as the crowd gets to its feet and sings along. ….Maybe the church's growth is linked to the live music; members of the congregation stand and sway to the rhythm of the band, arms extended high, palms spread, lyrics pouring passionately from their mouths.
